Had some more blood drawn at Research clinic. Before that got another ECHO to look at my heart.

Visited Chase, Samantha  & Molly to revisit my flu like symptoms. Biggest symptom was the hiccups. They ordered Baclofen 10mg

In Clinic Exam

Came in the day after leukapharisis to get examine. May have slight virus; is what the doctors said. They drew some labs and decided to run an IV with hydration and added low does of Ondansetron to help nausea.

When I got home that day—feeling much better than before I left—I got to thinking that the one thing no one added to the giagnosis was the fact that the blood transfusion, the day before, gave me oxycodone for the pain I was having (arthritis). I remember having a reaction to it around 5 years ago and I did hurl.

Leukapheresis

Took 4 hours in the Apherisis Dept. was not real happy with the nurses ability to get a needle into a vein. They called line and use an ultrasound to find a good one.

Then as soon as I left, I went across the street to Sprouts to get some food and drink but I threw up whatever I ate. Driving home was fine, I had no issues with that. Got home very week and had flue like symptoms. Did Covid test that did not show anything. ended up calling the clinic and they asked me to come in the next day to get an IV and so they could draw some blood. Blood looked good except low Albumin. Two doctors came to conclusion that it was a reaction to the leukapheris and also I may have picked up a bug.

There were not too many people wearing mask in the procedure room. On one side of the office there were nurse doing bone marrow work. They were all wearing masks. On the other end of the room the side I was on; 1 out of 5 nurses wore a mask and none of the patients, other than myself.
